A NEW 10,000sq ft office block with ‘flexible working space’ has opened on Botley Road.
The ‘vibrant work hub’ has been created in the offices above Johnsons Oxford car dealership at Seacourt Park and Ride.
Citibase, the office rental company which is now marketing the space, says the centre provides ‘the perfect space for start-ups, entrepreneurs, SMEs and corporates looking to join the flexible working revolution’. The company also said the new office space was ‘Covid-19 secure’, with ‘touch-free access’, ‘enhanced cleaning’ and ‘state-of-the-art tea and coffee services’ controlled through a smartphone. The hub also has ‘co-working spaces, a range of break-out spaces and meeting rooms’ and the reception area has been transformed into an ‘Oxford inspired open park, designed to bring the outside in and showcase the beauty of the area’.
Major works are currently happening on all sides of the building as Oxford City Council expands the Seacourt Park and Ride car park.In a £5.2 million project, the council is creating 595 new parking spaces in the green field next to the park and ride and the office block, a plan criticised by environmentalists.
