After the failure of the incumbent operator, Kent County Council approached NewFlex to affect an immediate and seamless transfer of responsibilities. NewFlex mobilised a special projects team to secure the building, resolve staffing issues and implement a new building regime. Responsibilities included establishing new financial and accounting systems, resolving base build issues, IT and telecoms, and agreeing new vendor contracts with existing and new suppliers.
