Having helped generate revenue from this under-utilised building, Kent County Council successfully used the interim cash NewFlex generated.
After the failure of the incumbent operator, Kent County Council approached NewFlex to affect an immediate and seamless transfer of responsibilities. NewFlex mobilised a special projects team to secure the building, resolve staffing issues and implement a new building regime. Responsibilities included establishing new financial and accounting systems, resolving base build issues, IT and telecoms, and agreeing new vendor contracts with existing and new suppliers.
